BIODIVERSITY AT THE HEART OF OUR APPROACH. MIYAWAKI FOREST PROJECT

An important element of the WESTSIDE SZCZECIN NXT by LemonTree project will be the implementation of a Miyawaki pocket forest, developed in cooperation with Forest Maker and based on the Miyawaki method.

The microforest consists of dense plantings of native species on biologically active soil, rapidly creating a self-sustaining ecosystem that enhances biodiversity while improving the microclimate and user comfort.

The forest will cover approximately 250 m², delivering measurable environmental benefits with minimal land use. The project includes soil preparation, species selection, as well as two years of maintenance and monitoring.
