The first two buildings of BOOSTER ZABRZE by LemonTree are already delighting tenants, bringing to life a vision that combines modernity, functionality, and an urban character. BOOSTER has become part of the city fabric, and its architecture integrates seamlessly into the rhythm of urban life.
Architecture that inspires
Today, the architecture of functional buildings plays a fundamental role, not only in how we operate within a space, but also in how we experience it. It shapes emotions, atmosphere, and the overall experience of the places we inhabit. Modern commercial facilities blend functionality with refined design, inspiring, integrating, and providing comfort to users. BOOSTER ZABRZE perfectly embodies this philosophy.
BOOSTER ZABRZE an urban complex with character
This project grew from urban energy. Located on a 25-hectare plot in Zaborze, a district of Zabrze, right by the Drogowa Trasa Średnicowa (DTŚ), BOOSTER ZABRZE breaks the mold of a typical industrial-logistics facility.
Our goal was to create a complex of buildings that would harmoniously integrate into the city fabric and enrich it with a place defined by architectural aesthetics. BOOSTER demonstrates how a logistics and service complex can align with modern urban planning.
A vision of a place with identity
From the start, we wanted BOOSTER to be a place with a clear identity, a recognizable landmark on the map of Zabrze.
The name “BOOSTER” is no coincidence; it symbolizes strengthening the local economy and urban fabric by creating new jobs, as well as spaces open to the residents of Zabrze. The project includes a publicly accessible sports field, green areas, and relaxation zones.
Architecture closer to nature
To bring our vision to life, we organized an architectural competition, inviting renowned Polish design studios.
The winning concept was by Grupa 5 Architekci, a design that impressed us with its modular facade concept for office areas and its bold use of natural materials.
A key feature is the wooden, movable louvers on the office facades, which protect interiors from overheating while creating an interesting, dynamic facade structure. Wood brings warmth, balance, and a friendly character to the space, aligning with sustainable design principles.
“We chose wood, which in this context became a symbol of quality, durability, and a modern approach. Using this material allowed us to break the stereotype of warehouse-service building design in Poland.”
– Rafał Grzelewski, Partner at Grupa 5 Architekci
A result worth seeing
Implementing the selected architectural project by Grupa 5 Architekci is a special moment for us. We proudly share the results of the entire LemonTree team’s work and present BOOSTER ZABRZE in a short film, showing how we combined functionality, aesthetics, and urban spirit into one cohesive project.
